I have turned into a fair-weather blogger. So sorry friends. This semester has not been the best so far, and then I got all sick, and the semester started kicking me while I was down.
That, and our digital camera broke (hence no September 10 on 10), and it's just not as much fun to blog if there are no pictures to post. I'll post a few from my phone though, I have just forgotten to take very many, especially since we've done so much lately.
Quick update, and I promise there will be a bigger, better, shinier, and more exciting post coming soon. (As soon as I get caught up with everything?)
1. Bathroom project--sheetrock is all up! Next we'll be taping, mudding, doing floors, etc.
2. I went to Indianapolis to help my dear friend Kay (and Leo) with their United States reception. FUN!
3. We went to Houston to see Momma B, BNB, Kira, Steven, and the puppies. It's amazing how much debris is still waiting to be picked up in their neighborhood alone.
4. Ummm...I should be writing a paper right now, but the VP debate is on and I really wanted something more fun to distract me during it.
5. Ricardo is my favorite. What a guy--he's a great husband and fixes pretty much everything.
And here are some pictures that make me happy.
We surprised Ricardo (we being Ricardo's family, my parents, and me) for his birthday!
I don't park on-campus, I don't think it's worth the money I'd have to spend to get permission to park on campus. So I park and then walk. And every day I get to walk past a couple of alleys, which remind me of home. The trees are different here (not pointy), but doesn't this look at least a little like Seattle?
This is where I graduate. In May. May 16th to be exact. Ready for the party?
