These next few pictures are of her with her favorite toy, which we've started calling "Halloweenie" (we're not sure what animal it's supposed to be).  I've posted about this before--that this is the only toy she really "talks" to...but she is enamored with it.  Here are pictures of her response to seeing it the past few days.  When we get the video camera, I'll try to get some video of it posted!

So, our Xaritas makes lots of caritas ("caritas" means little faces in spanish...appropriate, no?)

VBS was lots of fun...

but thank God it's over and done!

We're tired! It was a great week, but I'm worn out! Celina (my sister-in-law) and I had our work cut out for us getting 2 kids and a baby up, dressed, fed and out the door by 7:30 each day. And the extra stuff we've done this week has been terrific, but it's no wonder we're beat!

Museum of Science and Nature

Another outing after VBS this week--we checked out the children's museum at the Museum of Science and Nature.

We went to the Arboretum to play...but since it's still upper 90's (minimum) here most of the time, we pretty much walked right to the water fountains and stayed there the whole time.
