I Heart Ekklesia Band

Today was a fun day! We had our annual "trunk fest" (where kids get to come and trick or treat in our church's parking lot--we line up a big circle of cars and all the candy is in the trunks).

The Ekklesia band was asked to play during trunkfest, and then we would go right into the normal Ekklesia service, just outside (and maybe quicker since the cold front was supposed to be moving in).  We had a lot of fun, and started feeling like we're getting good!  We at least didn't have any problems or mess ups!

Ricardo took some pictures of us--we were set up on a flat bed trailer. I'm wearing a blond wig for lots of the pictures (it was part of my halloween costume--but the rest was too hot to wear in the afternoon).  I don't look good as a blond, but it's kinda funny.

Ha ha...it got windy and my music wanted to blow away!  Ed's watching me try to hold on to it!

Jeff and Russ, they basically rock.

Me! Surprise--I'm singing too.  Weird, huh? (for those of you who know me, yes!)

Me again...as a blond.  It's just not right.

Daniel and Shelly--they sound so good together!

Me--preaching from the trailer--and without the blond wig. Looks like I'm preaching to an audience of ONE too, but he was just the one who sat the closest!

This week: Papers to write and turn in, I'm grateful that I'm done with midterms...and I fly to Seattle on Friday for Grandpa Bill's memorial service.  Thank you everyone who has been praying for me and my family--it will be a hard weekend, but I am glad I get to go and be with my family.
Peace.
