I've determined I must be in a blogging slump.
I usually check my blog daily (typically in the middle of the night, when I'm feeding X).
The first thing I do is scroll down to see if there are any comments. I think comments must be my favorite part about blogging. While I like journalling, I must like the response even better, because I tend to judge my blog by the feedback it gets...am I writing and posting things that are interesting to others? Am I writing and posting things that others enjoy?
So, I must be in a slump, because it's been several posts with zero response. I tried to combat my steadily decreasing blogging average by posting one of Xaris' Christmas pictures...and when that didn't work, I brought out the big guns--Santa picture. And now I'm at a loss: how do I top that?
Not a clue. But you can be sure when I figure out what's causing my slump, I will be sure to remedy it. And then I will surprise and delight any of the faithful remnant who still read this blog with episodes of such fantastic bloginess that warrant abounding comments.
I will try my hardest--stick with me please!

Calia - I read your blog all the time! I just read my blogs as a couple minute vacation while caring for children and so I rarely make comments. Sorry. But I'm reading!
I can write this comment because Peter is eating lunch watching Thomas and Moira is asleep.
I also read the moment that your blog shows up in my google reader, but one-handed typing makes for only the most important of comments. :)
Comments? You can leave comments?
Well.... I Am Your Mom....
Just so you know, I check look/read daily......and sometimes I even scroll down to some particularly favorite pictures from previous posts. (yeah, since I'm 'outed'--- I click on Abby and Judy's periodically, even though I feel kinda 'voyuerish'. But, you do know how I love darling baby girls!)
Keep Blogging, please.
Comment!!! I'm homeless does that give me an excuse?
Calia, I too read your blog all the time, but through google reader, which doesn't let me comment without going to the site, which means I don't get to be lazy, which doesn't work so much with my style these days :) but I LOVE reading about your darling child and her adventures, even though I'm not a mom it makes me look forward to the days when I *hopefully* will be!
